Strategic Leadership and Capital Relationships
David Simpson is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of SBN Financial Partners, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and oversees relationships with sponsors, lenders, and institutional capital partners. He is responsible for sourcing opportunities, guiding transactions, and managing the legal and business aspects of each engagement from origination through closing.
Over the past three decades, David has held senior leadership roles across multiple financial companies, including publicly traded platforms, overseeing operations with thousands of employees and billions of dollars in annual volume. What began as a small financial platform in California has evolved into a firm recognized across North America and the EU for its quality, efficiency, and integrity. His experience spans commercial lending, structured finance, asset-based lending, and capital markets execution.
At SBN, David works closely with a network of over 700 institutional capital sources across North America and the EU, aligning sponsors with the right partners and ensuring efficient execution across each transaction.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from California State University, Fresno.
Institutional capital markets expertise
Eugene Harris serves as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of SBN Financial Partners, where he leads underwriting, capital structuring, and investment strategy across the firm’s institutional platform. He works closely with sponsors and capital providers to design, structure and execute complex debt and equity transactions. He is known for delivering risk adjusted solutions, execution certainty, and developing long-term capital relationships.
Over more than three decades, Eugene has held senior leadership roles across investment banking, asset management, and private equity, overseeing teams of more than 50 professionals and managing in excess of $1 billion in assets. His experience spans capital markets execution, portfolio oversight, and enterprise level financial strategy.
He holds a Master of Science in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, graduating with honors. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Keith Anderson serves as Chief Operating Officer of SBN Financial Partners, where he oversees firm operations, technology infrastructure, and strategic execution across the platform. He is responsible for ensuring that internal systems, analytics, and workflows operate efficiently and support the firm’s advisory process. Keith aligns underwriting analytics, sponsor engagement systems, and capital matching infrastructure with the firm’s institutional standards, supporting disciplined execution across complex transactions.
With more than a decade of experience across private investment banking, operating company growth, and platform development, Keith has led initiatives focused on operational scale, data analytics, and technology driven execution. His background includes experience in financial analysis, transaction support, and capital structuring.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Oregon State University.
